In order to survive on earth, living creatures must use water effectively and control it. In this direction, people have been interested in water since the beginning of history, they have tried to recognize all the features of water, determine the theories governing its movement and make the best use of water. The science that examines the movement of water is called hydromechanics and the application of this science in the technique is called hydraulics.
Our department aims to train equipped engineers who can adapt to today's technology with its dynamic teaching staff. For this purpose, with the awareness of the importance of the transition from theory to practice in engineering, we aimed to eliminate the deficiencies in this field by giving application-weighted projects to our students in both design and thesis study by using technological opportunities.
